Local Schools’ Competitions

Primary Schools Art Competition

One artistic impression of Mícheál Ó Cléirigh in 2014

Each year since the inaugural Summer School in 2014 there has been a Primary School Art Competition where all schools in the locality, wishing to participate, have submitted artwork by their pupils in four categories based on the theme of the Summer School for that year.

This has been one of the most successful initiatives of the Summer School and the level of interest and participation grows each year with Primary Schools from Co Donegal, Co Leitrim and Co Fermanagh taking part in the competition.

The themes to date have been:

2014  “Mícheál Ó Cléirigh”,
